Unpave the World

The Unpave the World tee is part of our three piece ‘Exploration’ series clothing range, and our first 100% organic cotton shirt. This tee is a celebration of those hitting the dirt tracks and getting off the ‘black top’ (aka bitumen). Whether its filling the 2WD rental car full of sand or following your intuition up a dusty dirt track in the beloved 4WD ~ it’s all about getting off the paved roads!

To get some perspective on the opportunities that await those who wear this tee whilst exploring:

Dominica: paved 762 km, unpaved 750 km | Rwanda: paved 1,207 km, unpaved 3,493 km | Indonesia: paved 283,102 km, unpaved 213,505 km | Fiji: paved 1,686 km, unpaved 1,754 km | Tonga: paved 184 km, unpaved 496 km | India: paved 234,832 km, unpaved 4,455,010 km | Nicaragua: paved 3,282 km, unpaved 20,615 km | Greenland: transport takes place either by sea or air | Sri Lanka: paved 16,977 km, unpaved 97,116 km | Oman: paved 29,685 km, unpaved 30,545 km | Laos: paved 530 km, unpaved 39,038 km |

This shirt was part of a small series run whilst the crew was back on an Australian adventure, and our first 100% organic tee. We like to share the stoke with local communities, so we teamed up with a rad print team in Byron Bay and kept production all á la locale.

That meant zero transport emissions from our end and we were able to source an organic tee and utilise some high quality water based discharge inks which were a win for the local koalas and their habitat (organic is a no brainer, and water based inks are more environmentally friendly then plasticol inks). It also meant threads are super breathable, comfy, and you can hold your head high when walking past the likes of Dave Rastovich (outspoken environmentalist & pro surfer) knowing your fibre is organic.
